Porcelain sink?

My husband and I moved into our house about a year and a half ago. I absolutely adore everything about our cute little home, with the exception of one thing...our sink. When we moved in, I was in love with it. It was a beautiful white, porcelain and looked brand new. After a few months, though, I noticed that it was scratched and dingy looking. All of the dirt was getting stuck in those scratches and I learned to hate it. Yesterday, I finally found a great trick to get it looking new again. I found a new bottle of toilet bowl cleaner gel (with bleach) in the cabinet and decided to try that on the sink. It was AMAZING! I squirted it around the sink as I would with a toilet, let it sit for about 2 minutes then washed the sink out. There were a few spots that I had to run the sponge over, but I barely had to scrub at all. It looks brand new again! Plus the toilet bowl cleaner fights the flu virus, so its clean and disinfected :o)
